Summary This individual promotes, manages and delivers ITA’s AV Rental Services from within a corporate facility. Success in this job will require self-motivation, professionalism and a sustained record of achievement promoting value-added AV services. This is a unique, high profile AV services position with an inside sales component and requires 5-8 years experience. A complete knowledge of ITA’s policies, products and/or services will ultimately be required. Duties and Responsibilities A motivated AV Services Professional purposed to meet the day-to-day portable equipment and business presentation needs of employees working in our client’s General Offices complex. Responsibilities include all sales and service activities to identified clients as it relates to their AV needs & events. This may include participation in site visits with clients, solicitation of new business as deemed appropriate and ensuring that our customers receive excellent service and the proper equipment needed to accomplish their objectives. The objective is to successfully deliver and ultimately grow the day-to-day AV rental services operation. Responsibilities include: 1. the sales and service of:    a) equipment rental, distribution and inventory maintenance;    b) supply sales, distribution and inventory maintenance; 2. production and technical assistance; 3. instruction in the use of ITA equipment and materials; 4. obtaining and delivering information on audio-visual equipment for purchase. Duties include and will not be limited to: 1. Planning to achieve the desired goals. 2. Organization of work, self and resources to fulfill the plan. 3. Market analysis and segmentation. 4. Professional networking whenever possible. 5. Lead development, tracking & follow-through. 6. Sales activity documentation. 7. Seek out and find areas of mutual interest between the company and the customer. 8. Maintaining current special event industry and audio visual product knowledge. Relationships The AV Rental Onsite Services Manager will work with all ITA personnel to: 1. address all customer needs and concerns immediately; 2. improve or refine operational or service skills; and 3. develop recommendations to management. Qualifications The ideal candidate(s) will have recent success and experience managing AV rental, video conferencing and web casting services. AV sales experience or knowledge of current a/v presentation technology is helpful. Candidates with hospitality experience in Sales, Catering, Convention Services or candidates affiliated with hotel associations are encouraged to apply.
